High performance could be had for the Barracuda,4/speed transmission,235hp engine with special dress-up option,bucket seats,speical suspenion,even racing stripes,some folks raced these cars in the SCCA classes with the Mustang and later on the Camaro,trans am racing at the street level.

The 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda,with 425hp would kill just about every musclecar on the street,just a few could run with it.
1966 Plymouth Barracuda
In 1966 Plymouth decided to change the Barracuda with a new frontEnd and grill,some people like the early version better,this was also the first and only year for the D/stock class,which took the hp to 275,and very few your ever built.
